Wake Me Up When 2020 Ends

I can't wrap my head around that it's September already and how little and much has happened all at once this year.

It's been a bumpy ride and we're still on this rollercoaster not really knowing when we can get off. As I heard this on Brene's Brown podcast the other day "We gotta go forward, but we can't see where we're going".

Without a doubt we have all been affected by this crisis - some more, some less. Whichever category you find yourself in, I hope you are letting yourself feel what you feel.

It can be grounding to count your blessings and recognise that it could be worse, however I'm noticing how quickly guilt and resistance can sneak up if we're comparing our struggles.

It might not be as bad as it could be, and we can still find it difficult. Judging ourselves for not coping better when other people are struggling more doesn't help them, just makes it harder for us to process our emotions.

As our ride remains bumpy and uncertain, I hope we can practise staying honest, human and vulnerable with ourselves, so we can be this way with each other.

Lots of love and a big hug to you all 🧡

Inga
